We are sharing about our family traditions and foods during music time. In class students
will learn about Martin Luther King through song. We have learned all about:
• Rhythmic Exploration: Being able to recognize and clap simple rhythms after listening
• Repeating the Solfege (up to“Sol”): Adding the challenge of also singing it backwards
• Encouraging Sharing Opportunities: Chances to trade or share instruments during music free-play
• Creating their own intervals with a synthesized keyboard
